(8)(7)(6)(5)(4)(3)(2)(1)

Why didn't our prophet have any child from the other wives (only from khadeege had children)? Some want to know the reason. Some say that he himself didn't want to have a child from the other wives. There is no justice in this matter. His wives might want to have a child and he didn't want.

The Messenger (pbuh) did not make any attempt to have or not to have children from any of his wives. It was only Allah's will and wisdom, and Allah is more knowing of the wisdom of this matter.

I have a child from a previous marriage who is 15 years old. I devorced his mother when he was 4 years. His mother is not a muslim, however my son considers himself a muslim but does not practice unless Iam with him. After hearing a mr. albouti about the (Hurmah) of living in the west for no urgent reason I am fearing for my other two childern from my present wife. am strongly thinking about leaving for my home muslim country, but I can not make my 15 year old leave with me because he lives with his mother due to a court order. Wil I become an( Athim) sinner if I leave him behind adding that I will still support him financially and spiritually. Please I need your answer.

In case you continue to raise him in a way which might make him grow as a Muslim adhering to his religion, I hope that you will bear no responsibility for his stay in the lands of the West.

How does Islam Explain Near-Death Experiences?

Question:

In the last few decades more research has been done regarding clinical death or near-death experiences. This is referring to the experiences of people who are pronounced clinically dead and are later revived. Some times these people have memories of going down a tunnel, seeing a bright light, seeing dead relatives, religious figures, or heaven, and more rarely the people report a terrifying Hell-like experience. Usually skeptics say this is a psychological phenomenon

caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. But how does one explain such people apparently witnessing events around them, while in a supposedly disembodied state, the details of which would be impossible for them to ascertain in a state of physical clinical death?

People of all different religious and cultural backgrounds seem to have similar experiences. Out of curiousity, I have been reading some of the research done in this field, to see if the experience of Muslims is markedly different. So far I have not found any accounts made by Muslims at all, as it seems most of the research has been done in the west. However, neither have I found anything in the accounts that would correlate with the hadith regarding the torments of the grave, being questioned by the angels, etc. Should we understand these hadith literally? If that is the case, do we take the position, as many fundamentalist Christians do, that all clinical and near-death experiences which do not support a literal interpretation of scripture are a fabrication of the shaytan, made to deceive people and cast doubt on their faith? There are some problems with this explanation, too, but I will leave my question here at

this time.

· If, by democracy, you mean "Shura" which the men of power an mass categories ought to follow, this procedure is considered a basic part of the state rules in Islam. However, if you mean by it that the mass rules itself, it will then contradict with the rules of Islam, because the ruler is only Allah in the Islamic Law.

· If you want to get acquaintance with the details of this matter, you can return to my book " 'Ala Tariq al-'Awdah ila al- Islam" [On the Path of Return to Islam].

Assalam alykum I am a student in France, I have a cuzine wears a shourt on the sport lessons despite of it's optional for him to wear shourt or a long one, and of course acoording to the situation here all his colleages are not muslims and there are girls.I live with him, according to that I advised him to not wear it because as I know it's not permitted. He asked what's my evidence??.Please kindly ,despite of what you think about this not importnat question, send me if it's permitted or not and why. Wa jazak Allah al khayer

Tell him that the proof of it is the agreement of the majority of jurisprudents on the ruling that man's private body parts ('awrah) is between the navel and the knee. Accordingly, whatever trouser covers the knee limits is permissible, but it will be impermissible concerning whatever trousers above

1- Is it permissible for a person who receives state benefits (money from a government for people without permanent job) to undertake occasional work (without informing the authorities about it) and keep that extra money obtained from it.

2- Is it permissible for a person who has some debts with a bank to go for (Hajj) with a money from sale of his old property (that sale wouldn't cover all the bank's debts) or would the (Hajj) money be considered (Haram).

1- The answer to your first question is based on my knowledge of the terms through which she receives state benefits. I know nothing about those terms.

2- In this case you are not commissioned to perform pilgrimage. However, if you could pay back your debts to the bank and the people and the money left is enough for the pilgrimage expenses, then you are imposed to perform it. It is not permissible for a man in credit to perform pilgrimage unless he asks the permission of the one whom he owes the money.

Assalam Alaikum What are the things that we can do for the dead?? My aunt passed away. Is it right to read Quran and give it's thawab for her sicne I don't have money to make sadaqa??

The best procedure you do for the dead is to spend alms on behalf of him to a needy poor person. You can also read Qur'an, pray for him and then you can gift the reward of that recitation to him.

bismillah arrahman arrahim 1) my hasbund is a carricaturist.is the money he gets from this job licit? 2) people who have a commerce here in france don't declare all the income because the taxes here are very high(from "35% to60%).otherwise they wouldn't be able to carry on this commerce and may even go bankrupt! the frensh authorities know this and accept it on the condition that people don't exaggerate.more than that muslims have to pay ZAKAT .is it licit to do so. peace be upon our prophet. there is no god but ALLAH. thanks alot.

· I hope that the money that your husband earns not to be unlawful so that he does not use caricature for forbidden purposes.

· It is permissible that a merchant does not declare all his income as long as the authorities know about it and accepts the declarations.

· Concerning Zakah, it has nothing to do with taxes, neither negatively nor positively. Rather, Zakah is mandatory for wealth as long as it has reached the minimum amount liable to payment of Zakah, and a whole year has passed without decreasing to less than the ratio of the amount liable to payment.

1- What is the conception of heresy? What is the difference between a good heresy and a bad heresy?

2- What is sufism? Is it a heresy or not?

3- What is the ruling of reciting Qur'an in graveyards and gifting its reward to the dead?

1- Heresy is entering religion, into religion.

Whatever a heresy be, it is considered bad heresy, and there is no good heresy according to the definition I have mentioned aboue.

2- Every legal action aiming at ennobling the soul and purifying it From bad morals is relevant to the essence of Islam. This is what some scholars call sufism (tasawwuf).

3- Ibn Majah narrated that the Messenger (pbuh) Said "Read the opening chapter (Al - Fatihah of the Qur'un) upon your dead (ones)". So, reading the opening chapter (Al - Fatihah) or other chapters upon the dead is legislated and lawful.
